Caring for your gun after being decorated is very simple. NO LONGER WILL YOU NEED TO OIL THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR GUN AGAIN. All you will need to do is just wipe it down using a damp rag. You will still be required to clean and oil the inside of your gun.
Any product that will discolor or strip paint will have an effect on the decorated finish. Deet is the most common chemical that will discolor the finish which is found in insect repellants. Using these practices will ensure a long lasting finish.
IMPORTANT: YOUR NEW DECORATED GUN MUST CURE FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE USE. THE FINISH NEEDS TIME TO HARDEN.
We offer a one year warranty on Material and Labor. Void of warranty would be if you use your product before the 30-day curring process (the product needs time to cure to reach its maximum hardness). Typical wear or hard use is not considered a product failure (chips, gouges or wear marks on natural sharp edges).
We believe in using catalyzed 2 stage high performance coatings: IE: Primers, base coats and clear finishes. The products that we use have a high tolerance and resistance against wear and chemicals and will give you the utmost protection against harsh bore solvents and gun degreasers out there on the market today.
